Information for Haynes Middle Families
We're glad you're here. At Haynes Middle School, we believe strong partnerships between school and home are key to student success. We know how important family is, and the role you play in your child's education and success.
We want you to be part of the Wildcat community as much as your child is. Reach out to us to learn how to get involved.
We encourage all families to follow Haynes Middle and the district's social media and review the district's website for a full list of services, supports and opportunities available to students and families.
School Arrival
Car Riders and Walkers
- Car riders cannot be dropped off earlier than 8:30 p.m. Students will have to wait at the school's main entrance until the doors open at 8:40 a.m.
- Walkers should plan to arrive after 8:40 a.m.
Bus Riders
- Bus riders must unload safely and walk into the building beginning at 8:40 a.m. through the front entrance.
All students will enter the building through the main entrance. If your student would like breakfast (free), they can proceed directly to the cafeteria. Students who chose not to eat, will proceed to the grade-level hallway, go to their lockers to put away backpacks, coats electronic devices and other personal items and retrieve materials needed for class.
School Dismissal
Dismissal begins at 3:55 p.m.
Car Riders and Walkers
An announcement will be made to dismiss car riders and walkers first.
- Car riders and walkers will proceed to the side exit near the band room and walk to the designated field area to locate their car.
- Walkers should utilize the school crossing guard to safely navigate Trinity Lane.
Bus Riders
- Bus riders will be called by bus numbers. Riders will exit through the school's front entrance.
- Late Bus Plan: Late bus scholars will proceed to the community room where they will wait with a teacher until the late bus.
